Job Overview: We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to join our team. As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This is a rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to improving the lives of others. Duties: - Develop and implement individualized care plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities - Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities - Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals in reaching their goals - Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care - Administer medications and document medication administration according to established protocols - Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals, promoting independence and self-determination - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and services provided Experience: - Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in home care or assisted living settings - Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or developmental disorders - Familiarity with patient care systems and documentation procedures - Ability to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with personal care tasks - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Valid driver's license We offer competitive pay rates and a supportive work environment where you can make a difference in the lives of others.
